Opening a Batch
By default, a new batch is created at FineReader
startup.
Note. If you wish FineReader to open the last batch you worked with at startup,
check Open the last batch at startup on the General tab of the Options
dialog (Tools>Options).
To open another batch:
- Select the Open Batch item in the File menu or
click the Open Batch button (
). The Open
Batch dialog will open.
- Select the folder containing the batch you wish to open in the Open
Batch dialog.
When you open a batch, the previous batch is automatically closed and saved.
If you have been working with a new
batch and you think you will need this batch in the future, be sure to save
this batch before exiting the program.
Batches can be opened directly from Windows Explorer:
- Right-click the batch folder (represented by the
icon)
and select the Open with FineReader item in the local menu. FineReader will be started and
chosen batch opened.
